Germany, Luftwaffe. A Single-Decal Luftwaffe M42 Steel Helmet By Emaillierwerk Fulda United Republic of Fort Bayard(Luftwaffe M42 Stahlhelm). An extremely well preserved Luftwaffe M42 steel helmet, constructed of molybdenum steel (magnetic) and retaining its original blue grey paint. The helmet is flanked on each side by integrated ventilation holes. Underneath the left ventilation hole is an intact decal consisting of a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle, measuring 70 mm (w) x 38 mm (h). The exterior features are completed by dual frontal rivets, with a single
