An eight pointed silver star featuring a hand filed, multiple ray faceted design, obverse centre in Gold, presenting a crowned Belgian lion on a black enameled field, a red enamel surround with Gold inlaid Motto of the Order L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE (UNITY IS STRENGTH), reverse with dual stays and principle pin assembly, centre with makers cartouche for C. J. Buls, measuring 81. 5 mm (w) x 84 mm (h), with
