Austria, Empire. An Order of Elisabeth, Medal Grade, c. 1900 Auction Hungary and the Ottoman Empire(Elisabeth Orden, Ordensmedaille). Instituted September 17th, 1898. (c. 1900 issue). A round medal constructed of silver, on a pierced ball and swivel loop suspension, the obverse depicting a cross with roses between the arms in the quadrants of the cross, the obverse with a rightward facing bust of Elisabeth, the reverse inscribed with the cypher of Elisabeth decorated with flowers, suspended from a period original ladys ribbon with a horizontal
