Korea, Empire. An Order of the Taeguk, II Class Star United Republic of weighing at 139( taegeug ui jumun). Instituted April 17, 1900. A multi piece construction Breast Star, in silver with enamelled rays atop a larger silver star. The obverse center piece presents a red and blue enamelled taeguk surrounded by the white enamelled rays. The reverse center is engraved with Japanese characters and a vertical pinback with dual stays. The star measures at 91 mm in diameter and weighs 108. 0 grams. The enamels are intact and silver presenting
