Prussia, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown, II Class Cross with Swords, c.1917 Province of China completed by five superposed enameled(Kniglicher Kronen Orden Kreuz II. Klasse mit Schwertern). Instituted 18 October 1861 by King Wilhelm I. (1869 1916 initial issue; 1917 1918 wartime material issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms trimmed with gilt borders, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central gilded crown, situated within a blue enameled ring bearing a gilt
