Germany, HJ. A Member’s Knife, Transitional Example, by Klittermann & Moog Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Silver Civil Merit Medal (05/1892)(HJ Fahrtenmesser). An HJ members knife, measuring 25 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 14 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains some factory original sharpening to the tip and lower edge. The reverse of the blade bears a partially visible makers mark for the firm of Klittermann & Moog, Haan bei Solingen, while the ricasso is marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code M7 29 for the same
