Constructed of gilded and silvered bronze with enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a blue enamel date of 1939 topped by a crossed plough and sword, surrounding an NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed and blue enameled swastika, the reverse with eight visible clips securing the obverse features in position, maker marked with LDO
