An original presentation case of issue for an Order of Pius IX, constructed of a red hard shelled leatherette, the obverse presents a gilded Papal coat of arms of Pope Pius XI, the interior with a white satin lining, maker marked TANFANI & BERTARELLI ROMA, with intact hinge cover, an absent medal bed, functional clasp, measuring 134 mm (w) x 276 mm (l) x 77 mm (h), interior satin lining portion has detached
