Constructed of bronze zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a stylized belt around a raised letter R, with a central mounted horse on a hollow background, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked STEINHAUER & LCK, LDENSCHEID, measuring 42. 55 mm (w) x 52. 35 mm (h),
