Germany. A Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, By Hermann Aurich Newly Listed without suspension or ribbon(Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, in Silver). Instituted on 20. 12. 1939 by Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Brauchitsch. (Issued 1939 1945). Constructed of silvered zink, in the shape of an oval oak wreath, with a national eagle clutching a swastika on the top and a bowtie on the bottom.
