Germany, Imperial. A First War Honour Badge For Frontline Combatants United Republic of SS-Unterscharf(Ehrenzeichen fr Kmpfer 1914 1918). Instituted 1914 by Prince Adolf von Schaumburg Lippe. Constructed of bronze with embroidered ribbon, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 47 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in good condition.
