Austria, Empire. A German Knight’s Order, Marian Knight's Cross, by Rothe Hold the London Alderman's Neck Badge(Marianer Kreuz des Deutschen Ritterordens). A fine example of this decoration, in silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross with black and white enameled arms, the obverse with a central red enameled Geneva Cross on a white enameled medallion, surrounded by a ring of black enamel bearing an inscription of ORDO TEUT HUMANITATI (TEUTONIC HUMANITARIAN ORDER), the reverse with a white enameled medallion bearing a date of 1871,
