It is capable of handling boards from 1 2" to 1" thick. A second cutter behind the first can be adjusted to give a beveled edge. The body is plastic, and the blades are high carbon tool steel and can be easily re honed or replaced when dull. Features: Double edge design allows trimming in both directions Sharp blades provide
