Germany, Third Reich. An Air Defence Merit Medal, Ii Class United Republic of with a RZM production tag(Luftschutz Ehrenzeichen II. Klasse). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938 1945 issue). Constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the obverse with a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of FR VERDIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ (FOR MERIT IN AIR DEFENCE), the reverse with a central raised date of 1938, unmarked, measuring
