Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a mobile swastika flanked by laurel branches, set against a radiant background topped by an inscription of JUNGSTURM H 1921 1923 and a date of 9. NOV, the reverse with a clip hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a rounded catch, unmarked, measuring 40 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), a scarce commemorative decoration from the precursor of the HJ in extremely fine condition.
