A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Type II (1903-1941)(Silberne Medaille fr Kunst und Wissenschaft). Instituted 30 January 1835 by Duke Ernst I. (1858 1893 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a leftward facing profile of Duke Ernst I, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a royal crown topped by an inscription of DEM VERDIENSTE (FOR MERIT) inside of an oak wreath, the obverse maker marked HELFRICHT, measuring 23. 57 mm in diameter, weighing 8. 5 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in
