Germany, Imperial. A Model 1915 Infantry Pickelhaube for Enlisted Ranks Democratic Republic of the Dresden”(Preuen 1. Weltkrieg Pickelhaube M1915 fr Mannschaften). A well preserved Prussian Heer (Army) Model 1915 Pickelhaube, constructed of a boiled and blackened leather shell. The crown is topped by a matte grey magnetic steel disc which is fixed in position with four domed rivets. Emanating from the centre of the disc is a spike which is perforated around the stem with ventilation holes, and screws on with two brackets. A matte grey metal spine extends
