A rare and exceptionally well preserved insignia for a Luftwaffe Generals cape, constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a striking machine embroidered gold bullion wire Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining an original and fully intact black paper liner unmarked, measuring 185 mm (w) x 120 mm (h), a high quality example in extremely fine condition.
