War Participation Medal 1940-45 GTRexclude Albett died at the ageWar Participation Medal 1940 45 Bronze, 33. 6 mm, original ribbon with bronze pinback hanger, with rosette, marked "OSTRUP" on the hanger, near mint in original packet, a complete example. Footnote: This medal was a reward to those who had served in the underground movement, either at home or abroad. The dates on the obverse are "9 April 1940" and "8 Mai 1945", indicating respectively the invasion and the liberation of Norway.
