Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Hamilton, Ontario, under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed November 14, 1916 under the authority of Lieutenant Colonel W. H. Bruce with a strength of 32 officers and 930 other ranks.
