Anhalt, Duchy. A Friedrich Cross Newly Listed Clarke of Toronto(Friedrich Kreuz). Instituted on 12 December 1914. A cross patte in a bronzed war alloy cross, the obverse inscribed with the cipher of Friedrich, with an oak wreath between the arms of the cross, the reverse inscribed FR VERDIENST IM KRIEGE (For Merit in War), on a loop for suspension, measuring 38. 22 mm (w) x 38. 15 mm (h), and in overall near extremely fine condition.
