Germany, Third Reich. A 1943 Kufstein District Marksmanship Competition Champion’s Badge, by Carl Poellath Hold Hellmuth Stieff (1901–1944) was a(Kreisschiessen Kufstein Abzeichen. Constructed of silvered and gilded tombak with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the top and bottom by ribbon, surrounding a gilded oval medallion bearing a red enameled German national eagle clutching a rifle, flanked by a black and white enameled bullseye target defaced by a mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of KRIES SCHIESSEN KUFSTEIN
