Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS Officer’s Overseas Cap, Italian-Made by Berven visually-hidden maker marked "H" (Paul Hossauer(Waffen SS Schiffchen). A well preserved Waffen SS Officers overseas cap, constructed of field grey gabarine wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which gently slope toward the front. The edge of the walls is trimmed with a length of fine white wool piping. The peak demonstrates the unmistakable outline of an SS style German national eagle insignia which has been carefully removed with only minimal disruption to the base material.
