Likely of German manufacture with German recipient, an eight pointed silvered bronze star, each arm composed of clusters of individual rays, obverse centre featuring a medallion with applique bearing a profile of Queen Tamara, measuring 71. 21 mm (w) x 70. 88 mm (h), reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, tarnishing evident and loss of silver finish to the arms,
