Constructed of a tan coloured magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, within a ribbed wreath bearing an inscription of GOTT MIT UNS (GOD IS WITH US) and oak leaf branches, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, the latter retaining a period original length of canvas belt, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with oxidation and loss of
