It shows a soldier of Oberleutnant (Senior Lieutenant) equivalent rank of the Heeresverwaltung (Army Administration). He wears a Wound Badge in Black and a DRL Sports Badge. His ribbon bar features a War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords, a Sudetenland Medal, and an Italian German Africa Campaign Medal.
