Braunschweig, Duchy. An Order Of Henry The Lion, I Class Honour Medal United Republic of Measuring 425 mm(Orden Heinrich des Lwen Ehrenzeichen I. Klasse). Instituted 25 April 1903 by Duke Regent Prince Albrecht. (1903 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a central raised and crowned monogram of Duke Wilhelm, surrounded by a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised motto of IMMOTA FIDES (UNWAVERING LOYALTY), above oak leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 31. 01 mm in
