Germany, Kriegsmarine. A U-Boat Clasp, Silver Grade, by Schwerin Archive unstitched and measuring 520 mm(U Boot Frontspange in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, overlaid by a central U Boat, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, the reverse with an integral hinge and fluted banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch which emanates from a crimped base, designer marked PEEKHAUS for Wilhelm
