A Gold Maltese cross with white enameled arms and with Gold crossed swords between the arms of the cross; the obverse with a silver gilt oval blue enameled medallion bearing a Gold rampant lion; the reverse with a similar silver gilt oval blue enameled medallion bearing a Gold Royal Monogram of Gnther Friedrich Carl; on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon; measuring 40. 38 mm
