Raven Flag Freja Both parts of the bookThis full sized flag is based on the Raven Banner that was flown by Viking Chieftains during the Viking Age. In addition to the raven imagery, Grimfrost is written onto it with runes. The runes in the lower part read "svartan svan hjaldrs", translating to "the black swan of battle", which is a Norse poetic name for the raven.
