Germany, Third Reich. A Rhineland Propaganda Badge Archive affixed to a die-stamped bronze(Propaganda Abzeichen). Constructed of brass, the obverse bearing a depiction of a hand gripping a snake (symbolizing France), topped by an inscription of DER RHEIN, DEUTSCHLANDS STROM (THE RHINE, GERMANYS RIVER), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
