A Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Standard Issue K98 Bayonet Frog Auction Archive and joined the Royal ScotsConstructed of three pieces of thick chocolate brown heavy duty leather; with heavy grade twill machine stitching throughout; two rivets to reduce wear from rubbing; with pouch to set the bayonet scabbard into and loop for placing the frog onto the standard issue belt; marked S on the reverse; measuring 215 mm x 58 mm; small cracks in the leather throughout, but without major signs of damage; near better than very fine condition.
