Measuring 242 mm in length when inserted into the scabbard. The dagger features a double ridged 151 mm long magnetic blade with dull edges and dull tip. The reverse bears the mark SMF SOLINGEN D. R. G. M.. The blade fits nicely into the crossguard, which is constructed of silver non magnetic metal and consists of a Luftwaffe style eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons. The
