Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A 30-Year Long Service Cross For Female Servants, C.1900 Auction all are marked "EXTRA FEIN"(Ehrenauszeichnung fr Dienstboten 30 Jahre). Instituted 16 September 1886 by Duke Ernst I. (1895 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Shamrock Cross, the obverse with a central raised number 30, circumscribed by an inscription of FR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT (FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR), the reverse with a central raised monogram of Duke Ernst I, unmarked, measuring 44. 30 mm (w) x 47. 85 mm
