In silver, the obverse bearing the profile of Emperor Napoleon III surrounded by the relief inscription NAPOLEON III EMPEREUR, all within a laurel wreath, the reverse bearing the inscription CUMBRES CERRO BORREGO SAN LORENZO PUEBLA MEXICO surrounded by the relief inscription EXPEDITION DU MEXIQUE 1862 3, 31 mm in diameter, original ribbon, extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Commemorative Medal of the Mexico Expedition was a
