Cap, Herringbone Twill, Dark Shade photo1 Army Russet shadeThis is the cap made from cotton herringbone twill fabric in the shade of OD #7 (dark shade) meant to be worn with the HBT fatigues. It has a thick cotton duck filled visor and two pairs of OD painted metal ventilation eyelets on each side. This cap was widely worn in the Pacific and European theaters by US Army soldiers during WWII. It was also worn during the Korean War.
