Kerr, Stuart & Co was a locomotive supplier founded in 1883, when James Kerr and Company took on John Stuart as a partner. Originally based in Glasgow, the firm relocated to Stoke on Trent in 1892 and began manufacturing its own locomotives. The company went out of business in 1930.
