A Pilot Badge, Named, C.1944 Archive difficulties were experienced by soldiersIn bronze, the wings and coat of arms in gilt, with a silvered wreath and sword, hand engraved "VAML" on the reverse, measuring 61 mm (w) x 48. 2 mm (h), the reverse with a horizontal pinback along the top edge and a clip at the base of the sword, scattered gilt and silvering wear on the obverse, contact marks on the reverse, better than very fine.
