An Order Of Saint Gregory; Breast Star By Rothe C.1870 Archive typical War period badge byBreast star in silver, superimposed gold and enameled cross, 85mm. Circa 1860 80. Of superb quality make, exquisite details and fine quality enamels. Unmarked, though undoubtedly by Austrian maker Rothe. Enamels intact without chipping, two arms of the star re enforced (seen from reverse only) otherwise in extremely fine condition. Very attractive and very scarce by this maker.
