his parents receiving the Royal Message upon his death which was forwarded by the government on February 19
he evidently served the three years required to qualify for the Defence Medal in some civil defence organization
Police Em/Ncos Buckle Auction Police Shako Eagle - StampedPolice EM NCOS Buckle aluminum, approximately 65x48mm, silvered, with pebbled field, centering swastika, encircled by a textured field with Gothic script motto on the top, "Gott mit uns", (God with us) and traditional oak leaf wreath at the bottom; buckle is maker marked on reverse FLL 40 (1940), in worn condition.
