Constructed of nickel plated magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised HJ insignia, situated within a circular ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a loop and claws emanating from a functional roller, maker marked with the logo of Steinhauer & Lck, Ldenscheid, alongside a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M4 49 for the same, measuring 62 mm
