The 'Vocal Memnon Size:S: 30 x 25cm Church of St MildredThe 'Vocal Memnon', Thebes, Egypt, 1862. One of a pair of 70ft 21m stone statues of Amenhotep III (Amenophis III) that stood in front of the mortuary temple that is now destroyed. The statues date from the 14th century BC.
