A Rare Royal Army Stormtrooper Badge, c.1940 Auction Wilhelm II (1892-1918) (silverIn bronze, a winged skull with crossed bayonet and hand grenade, with two tongues on reverse for fastening, measuring 29. 7 mm (h) x 76 mm (w), in very fine condition. Footnote: The badge was worn by assault pioneers whose job was to blow up enemy trenches and bunkers. Such units had a soldier armed with a flamethrower. The badge was worn on a dark green cloth.
