The Glider Pilot Badge Rare Large Eagle Auction stating that he had tenBadge in silvered tombac, eagle patinated, unmarked, (wreath 40. 35x54. 19; eagle, 55. 93x26. 75mm), of very fine quality manufacture, hand finished, slightly worn condition, very attractive, in extremely fin condition. This type of glider badge with large eagle is believed to be produced in 1941 by a small (thus far unknown) company; this type is described in more details in a book by Stijn David The Glider Pilot Badge. Very rare badge.
