Chuck Berry In Memphis is his 11th studio album, released in 1967 by Mercury Records. This was Berrys first album for Mercury after leaving Chess Records. Recorded over a three day period in Memphis in March of 1967, the record features Berry mixing blues and pop with rock and roll. It features saxophonists Andrew Love and James Mitchell from The Memphis Horns
