Description
Harrington was Killed in Action on the first day of the Battle of Flers-Courcelette on September 15
the 88th exceeded many other regiments in the sheer numbers of officers killed and incapacitated while leading the regiment
This appears quite logical in view of his interest and ability and plans to eventually work in woods management for a pulp and paper company
