A Morning Ride 4th Duke of Bedford was later built on the'A Morning Ride', 1804. The Prince of Wales and John McMahon ride past Carlton House followed by a groom on horseback and an urchin dressed in top hat and tattered livery, on foot. The lower margin contains text. Probably a discreet reference to King George III's illness and the Regency.
