A Second War German General Assault Badge Hold inscribed “Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2A second war German Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen; oval silvered feinzink; with an oak leaf border featuring a pair of acorns at the base, with a large Wehrmacht style eagle with folded wings clutching a mobile swastika, and a crossed bayonet and stick grenade in the centre; the reverse plain with a vertical needle style pin, barrel hinge, and a round wire catch; measuring 52. 74 mm x 42. 79 mm; weighing 32. 4 grams; extremely fine.
