Germany, Wehrmacht. An Eastern People’s Bravery Decoration, I Class, Gold Grade United Republic of the reverse left plain(Verdienstauszeichnung fr Angehrige der Ostvlker, I. Klasse). 1957 Version. Constructed of gilded zink, consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, the obverse depicting a six leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon, surrounded by a ribbed border, the reverse with a vertical principle pin assembly, unmarked, measuring 48. 84 mm (w) x 49. 05 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
