Bavaria, Kingdom. An 1895 Pattern Enlisted Personnel Belt Buckle Auction a size mark of “57”(Grtelschnalle). Constructed of partially silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised crown, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of IN TREUE FEST (STEADFAST IN LOYALTY), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), demonstrating minor scratching to the base metal, in near extremely fine condition.
